Branding and website design for a community-based project that works with the Native community in Barrow, Alaska to celebrate their culture and lifeways. The responsive site had to be built to host a wealth of imagery and links/resources for local community members to draw from, as well as educators and others interested in the culture.
Given the slower browser speeds available to the main user demographic, we kept the design simple, clean, and easy to access. It was developed in WordPress so that the site owners (academics from two Universities) could maintain and update it in the future.
