eBay

Web and user interface design for eBay’s “Help Me Shop,” a free browser plug-in for Firefox that makes it easy to get shopping advice from friends on Facebook.

The user installs the ‘tray’ into their browser, then drags and drops items into it from eBay. Once products are loaded into the tray, the user can select up to three items for a poll, and invite friends from Facebook to vote. Friends can comment or suggest other items. The Help Me Shop plugin then tallies responses so the user can decide what to buy, and immediately purchase.
